"Okay, Mr. Push-ups, let's hear your story....."

St. Louis' own Uncle Hulka Band sprang to life, mainly because after 30 years of playing drums,

 Dave Reeb got bored.

So he bought a bass, and not wanting to sit alone playing along with Yes albums,

he contacted Chris Boyer,

with whom he had played  in bands during the early 90's.

You know, to jam a bit, and drink some ale.

Eventually, they called Steve Staicoff,

whom they had also played with in various and sundry bands over the years,

along with Steve Andreyuk,

who was known to both pound the skins and practice a little family law in order to feed his family,

and Christine Albers

one of St. Louis' finest vocalists (and well-kept secrets).

Collectively, there is a lot of history in this band, and we have been friends for

literally decades.  We love to play the songs we cut our own musical teeth on, and we love to

entertain friends, family, and fans who enjoy timeless tunes played well.

Plus it's a LOT cheaper than therapy.
